Wise Leadership Tip #1: Hold the Line
What a long day. Thank you everyone who supported my book launch today.
Had a killer headache today. Possibly a migraine, although I have never been formally diagnosed but 6 Excedrin Migraine still didn't knock it out.
I woke up with it today, but I wasn't going to let it stand in the way of what I NEEDED to do.
Sure, there were some things I never got to today and that's okay, but the MUST-DOs, the things that absolutely, positively had to get done today, did.
That's Wise Leadership in action. I'm not talking about pushing through pain and over-sacrificing, but I'm talking about Desire and Commitment trumping all and the Must-Dos getting done.
That is Holding the Line. That no matter what life throws at you, you stay committed to your goals.
Your Desire and Commitment have to be stronger than the sabotage, the distractions, and the fear. Desire and Commitment are the fuel that helps you hold the line.
If you want to be a wise leader and make a big financial and social impact in the world while doing what you love, you have to learn to Hold the Line.
